  • KAM - Mutual Respect
After 15 years from his last record, you might have written off KAM forever. In 2016 he came back with FIRE. Mutual Respect is a compilation of sorts with hispanic artists going over political topics of division and unity. This is Chapter 4 of our KAM discography break down! It's our final KAM episode for now. We give an overall score to the record, compare with his others and talk about the Brotha Kam as an artist. Peep!

  • KAM: KAMNESIA
In Chapter 3 of our Kam Breakdown, we cruise through KAMNESIA. This is a smooth record and Kam's third. Is it his best? Let's break it down. KAMNESIA dropped in 2001. The same year as Nas's Stillmatic, Esham's Tongues and Yumouth's Thug Lord. How does it compare to the best of that year? This is Kam back from a 6 year hiatus.

  • KAM: Neva Again
In Part 1 of our series in a KAM Discography breakdown, we begin with his first album: Neva Again. In 1993, there were a lot of hit records. Where does Kam's first effort rank? Kam is an outspoken political, thought conscious gangsta rapper from Watts, California. Though he never broke through the masses like an Ice Cube, real recognize real and he can be heard on hit after hit with your favorite rappers.
So let's get into the first chapter of the Kam Breakdown. Starting with Neva Again!

  • The 2 Live Crew: As Nasty As They Wanna Be
The year is 1989 and we're just punk ass little kids. Few albums can be as eye opening as this one for a couple 11 year olds! Even though we hardly knew what half the record was talking about, we knew it was gold. Mr. Mixx, Luke, Brother Marquis and Fresh Kid Ice, authored a classic record! When you could only have a handful of tapes as a kid, this N.W.A. and Sir-Mix-A-Lot, were always in the stack. Mr.Mixx was a super talent, maybe ahead of his time as he took on production and scratching. Check out this episode while we retrospect and review this game changing record!

  • The Game: Jesus Piece (Deluxe)
Jesus Piece is The Game's concept record built of religious ideology and gangsta perspectives. When the album cover was released, it brought controversy with it. Another was released and actually there were three different covers. Not only the art work was fractured, but the release on different platforms split the tracks! Some only showed up on Best Buy purchases, some on Apple on then others on everything else. We review the Delux edition straight from Spotify. It's a retrospect on one of Game's lesser discussed records. Plenty of surprises here baby. Get the low down from Megatron and Soundwave from the Rap Throwback. Episode 55!

  • Gang Related (The Soundtrack)
In a time where Death Row was "Untouchable", there was the 2 disc soundtrack to Gang Related the Movie. Death Row sure sounded untouchable with classic 10 tracks from Daz, 2Pac, the Outlawz and Kurupt. Mixed in with some Mack 10, Ice Cube and a rookie Tech Nine, it was a mix that was sure to be a classic. Some tracks are straight up stuck in the 90's but several are timeless hits. Check out our retro review and let us know what you think in the comments. Hit us up on our youtube channel for our video reaction.
