The year is 1989 and we're just punk ass little kids. Few albums can be as eye opening as this one for a couple 11 year olds! Even though we hardly knew what half the record was talking about, we knew it was gold. Mr. Mixx, Luke, Brother Marquis and Fresh Kid Ice, authored a classic record! When you could only have a handful of tapes as a kid, this N.W.A. and Sir-Mix-A-Lot, were always in the stack. Mr.Mixx was a super talent, maybe ahead of his time as he took on production and scratching. Check out this episode while we retrospect and review this game changing record!

December 07, 2021 The Game: Jesus Piece (Deluxe)
Jesus Piece is The Game's concept record built of religious ideology and gangsta perspectives. When the album cover was released, it brought controversy with it. Another was released and actually there were three different covers. Not only the art work was fractured, but the release on different platforms split the tracks! Some only showed up on Best Buy purchases, some on Apple on then others on everything else. We review the Delux edition straight from Spotify. November 22, 2021 Gang Related (The Soundtrack)
In a time where Death Row was "Untouchable", there was the 2 disc soundtrack to Gang Related the Movie. Death Row sure sounded untouchable with classic 10 tracks from Daz, 2Pac, the Outlawz and Kurupt. Mixed in with some Mack 10, Ice Cube and a rookie Tech Nine, it was a mix that was sure to be a classic. Some tracks are straight up stuck in the 90's but several are timeless hits.
