314. The 3rd Annual Lashie Awards Are Back! We Share Tips & Why You Need to Apply

The 3rd Annual Lashie Awards are here, and this is the year you are going to apply! Over the last two years, we've had a few hundred lash artists apply, and out of that group, 47 lash artists have brought home a Lashie Award Trophy.

We started this award program because we saw so many competitions that awarded lash artists for great lash work, but no one recognized great lash business operators. Since LASHCON is all about teaching lash artists about business, we decided to start an awards program that also celebrated the best and the brightest business minds in the lash industry.

In today's episode, we share all the deets on what you need to know, and we give away some tips that will improve your chances of winning a Lashie Award.

On top of that, we go into good detail on why pretty much every lash artist should apply for a Lashie Award. While not everyone can win a Lashie Award, there are so many benefits from applying that have nothing to do with winning.

ELIGIBILITY AND CRITERIA

- Your business opened by January 1, 2023

- Your business is in the lash industry

- You completely fill out the applicant information portion of this form

- You completely fill out the essays for the categories you want to enter

- You paid the non-refundable $75 processing fee for the online application

- Submit photos if submitting for best salon design

- Submit photos/images if submitting for the best marketing

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: AUGUST 11, 2023
