The trials of life we face reveal our true beliefs and character. Allah already knows everything about us, so these tests in our lives make the truth apparent to us when are raised again in the afterlife for judgement. We have to be
careful not to prejudge anyone's outcome, for only Allah has this knowledge, and we know from the Hadith that someone may behave like the people of Heaven until they are very close to it, but then they change and behave like the people of Hell until they die in that state; conversely, someone may behave like the people of Hell until they are very close to it, but then they change and behave like the people of Heaven until they die in that state.
