Gartner data shows that a huge percentage of technology projects fail. While there is a long list of reasons why, one stands out to me. Most technology projects start without an outcome in mind. 

Worse, they are bought based on what they cost. My idea: they should be bought based on what they cost to NOT do them. 

This ideas forces organizations to prioritize real problems and come up with real outcomes that the business cases about.
