Welcome to Part 1 of my “Movies that were finished but NEVER released series” as I try to understand how movies can make it to the 99 yard line and yet, never cross over into the end zone. For today’s episode—the focus is all on Batgirl.
But Batgirl is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to movies that were finished but never released. It seems unfathomable…blood sweat and tears, millions of dollars, dreams and hopes on the line and negotiations finished—and yet, you pull the plug on the movie? But WHY?
In the next few episodes we'll look at some other mysterious film cancellations like Jerry Lewis's "The Day the Clown Cried", 1994's "Fantastic Four", and River Phoenix's "Dark Blood."
