"Stephen Dees was abused as a child. He was sent to juvenile detention for arson but later, found himself in adult prison for violent offences. Stephen developed a resentment towards God but while in prison, he met an inmate who loved Jesus. His new friend invited him to chapel. Stephen gave his life to Christ. In his words, “Jesus stepped onto my boat.” On leaving prison, Stephen got caught up again in his old life, but there was a new sense in his heart that told him what he was doing was not good."
