Obesity is now the leading cause of cancer in the UK. The number of severely obese people outnumbers smokers by 2:1 although smoking remains more toxic than obesity per individual.

However we are all responsible how we come across regardless of intent. Part of that is considering whether you are a role model of influence in society. Secondly comedy allows us to discuss difficult issues more openly by using humour. Not to conjure up even worse scenarios. Comedy is a serious influencer. Just like there is a crime of reckless driving there should be a crime of reckless incitement of violence to allow for lack of intent. Let alone the fact it was not even funny in our opinion.

Up to 20% of the population -who admit to it - use cocaine just over half of whom will develope a substance abuse problem. Therefore it's not unusual for politicians who presumably reflect the general population to have used cocaine at some point in their lives. There is therefore little leverage to the idea of media sensationalism regarding this topic. Politicians "confessing" incase someone exposes them first is a cowardly attempt at damage limitation without opening their actions. Boris Johnson's silly answer was the best of a lot to a stupid question. We also discuss antidepressant withdrawal which is another example of media sensationalism irrespective of the cost to vulnerable people who need medication. Firstly it is very rare if the dose of antidepressant is tailed off relatively slowly. Secondly there is no craving or subjective need to take the tablets. Antidepressants do have their limitations. They can't improve modern society which is largely toxic to humans and which is a political and not medical issue. Unless ofcourse politicians take medical advice or enlightened medics such as us are put in charge of social policy and national identity.

Purpose in life is so important that you live longer if you have one. Purpose starts with identity. First your identity at home: mother father etc, then your identity in the local community: your occupation , then your overall community identity which determines your shared values and goals. Identity is the starting point of purpose and in most cases purpose is to fulfill your identity as well as you can. Your personal identity may change throughout life ie father to grandfather. Thus purpose in life is fulfilling ones rolls in life as well as we can for the good of our family and community. Career is the big lie as 98% of work is a job defined as something you would not do unless you were paid. There are some especially on the Asperger's and psychopath end of the spectrum who seek identity my marking the pages of history. Therefore know thyself. Know the identity that suits you. Ie either work to live or if you belong to the latter live to work ideally without family as work has replaced family.

People need purpose in life. It even helps you live longer. Industrialisation and intellectual arrogance has led to self obsession and an ignorant disregard for values be they religious, moral, ethical. Along with that has resulted a loss of meaningful purpose. The result of this has been a world pandemic of depression and anxiety and plateauing birth rates. The irony is that Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) use a pseudoreligious structure. So in a crazy world where materialism and self obsession and intellectual arrogance has been destroying structure including religion alcoholics are offered refuge in an artificial religious facsimile. We discuss some of the mechanics of alcoholism and how we may improve the human lot.

Theresa May's best speach was her resignation speach. Why? Because it did exactly what it was intended to which is deliver a difficult message and protect her from fall out. She did this by objectifying herself under the politically correct umbrella of being a female prime minister with the additional halo effect of Margaret Thatcher and by appearing vulnerable by crying. Firstly it would be very hard to attack anything politically correct and iconic. She took her personality and her failure out of the equation in one masterstroke. Then she cried indicating someone who has given their all serving the country and has broken themselves doing so. Nothing about the fact she has been a disaster but an emotional message is far more powerful than the facts. Emotion almost always trump's facts in the human mind. A shame therefore that her speach writers could not have helped her do a better job as Prime minister. We certainly could have.

Political correctness which is one of the final symptoms of a disintegrating society means that without any proper leadership or common identity nobody knows how to behave incase someone chooses to take offence. It also means that without common identity it is harder for people to share common beliefs and expectations of reasonable moral human behaviour. We touch on the fact that democracy in the West is fatally flawed and floundering and that modern civilization is founded on thousands of years of sovereign leadership. If left to the rule of the rabble mankind would still be in caves arguing over sticks and rocks endlessly. The only true leadership today is religion and the most prescriptive religion is Islam. Birth rate has plateaued but Muslim birth rate continues to rise. The commonest baby's name is Mohamed. Soon white Christians will be the ethnic minority in Britain where the Sovereign is head of the Church of England. God save the Queen.

Gold standard studies show that we are our background and we are our genes. Therefore being masters if our own destiny is the big lie fed to us in the West and is one of the bases for resentment, envy, political correctness and Marxism. There is now doubt we are who we are and trying to change that in other words not accepting yourself will lead the misery for yourself and anyone you come into contact with as you won't accept them either. An example is valuing the feeling of being in love over and above getting to know the real person. Modern times has honoured the latter leading to sky high divorce rates as the live chemicals subside and reality sets in. Once you have self acceptance then you can optimise yourself and so you can effect your epigenetics and become the best version of yourself.

The world's population is becoming more angry and depressed. How can this be so with all the benefits of education and technology? We discuss the loss of identity the lack of self acceptance and self reliance and the epidemic of viral aspiration. The most effective you can be is yourself whatever you may be and materialism and political correctness robs us of this.
