Former Division I and professional basketball standout Leslie Johnson joins Terrell Talks to share her powerful journey from being the #1 ranked center in the country to leading Purdue University to its first-ever Big Ten Championship, Final Four appearance (the first appearance for any women’s basketball team in Indiana history). After competing professionally overseas and with the Washington Mystics, Leslie quietly battled depression and stepped away from the game. 

Today, as founder of Hushed No More Presents, she’s turning pain into purpose—supporting mental health, healing, and reentry nationwide. We sit down with Leslie on the eve of her launching the Rebound to Reentry Initiative next during NBA All-Start weekend in Los Angeles.
