I was laying in my hotel room after attending an event and started to journal and explore why praise and recognition from other people doesn't fully land or sink in.

For so long I've been looking for someone to truly recognise what I've had to go through to get where I am and then in hit me like a truck... it's because the only person that I need to recognise my journey, was me.
