B) Because we don't know how, and it feels unreachable. C) Because we have never done it before. A lot of times, it's because we don't want to have to look within. Looking within helps me grow and evolve in ways I never thought possible. Having a heavy addiction throughout my teen years and all through my 20s, I never believed in myself. I never knew I could actually achieve. Well, I did, but I didn't think it was possible for me. I didn't know how. Let me tell you how: it's by admitting that you are the problem in your life. Hell yes, it is! I used to think it was just some weird voice that I wanted to hear more because it was always telling me the truth. When I figured out that it's actually part of me and that I could use it as a tool, everything changed. It comes from me trusting myself—that’s where the game shifted for me.

You're not going to get this in one day, or in a week, or a month. It takes commitment. But this is your relationship with you—this is who you're going to spend the rest of your life with. So, I believe it's a tool worth understanding and getting good at.

Yeah, I know permission to fail. Fail as many times as you need. Get it wrong as many times as you need. Fail so many times that eventually you figure out what you were getting wrong, and you get it right. The only failure is giving up, and if you're not willing to do that, you will eventually feel enough pain to move out of it, to grow, to evolve. Giving up is the end, and if you’re reading this, I know there is greater potential for you.

I want to give you permission to fail forward, to make mistakes, to not have it all figured out, to not have things perfect all the time. It's okay. What is not okay is to give up on yourself, to let yourself feel like a failure because of the mistakes you have made. We hold on so tightly to the mistakes and imperfection that we never allow ourselves the chance to live. So worried about being judged, we never reach out for help.

I'm giving you permission to get things wrong as many times as you need. I'm just not giving you permission to give up. Just like the episode—it was so frustrating; the video didn't work. There is no video in my recording. I was so excited to have it there, but it didn't work. Does that mean I don't publish it? Does that mean this episode is not good enough? NO, it doesn't! I choose that it is a powerful message, and just because it all doesn't look the way I want it to doesn't mean it won't make a difference.

The choice is yours. What are you letting stop you from the success you want, and why does it really matter? Or are you making it matter more than it should? If repetition was the key, if expecting yourself was the key, what would you let go of?
