Tonight on a special expanded edition of the Red Maryland News Hour we are presenting a direct feed audio recording of the recent debate between the GOP candidates for Anne Arundel County Executive.

The debate was held at Maryland Hall in Annapolis, and was sponsored by the Capital/Gazette newspapers.  Laura Neuman, the current County Executive, debated Delegate Steve Schuh.  The event was moderated by the editor of the Capital, Steve Gunn.

First, we present some pre-debate interviews with the candidates, then the debate itself.  It is followed by some post-debate interviews with the candidates.  We also talk with the Executive Director of the Maryland Republican Party, Joe Cluster. We then interview the debate moderator, Steve Gunn.

The candidates also faced off at a forum in Crofton, and we bring you some of their comments at that event as well.

We then hear from Governor Martin O'Malley, as he comments during his last bill-signing ceremony as Governor.  We next talk about a challenge to one of the controversial bills he signed this week.
