Heshima Ministries is an organization in Uganda that Misty Newsome birthed after living there for three months to pursue the adoption of her son in 2014. This Non-Profit Organization is near and dear to my heart. Since 2016, Heshima has served women and children in Uganda. They empower women with skill and resources as entrepreneurs. Heshima offers classes in sewing and cosmetology. Each graduate receives a cosmetology starter kit or sewing machine. Right now, Heshima needs Prayer Volunteers to cover each woman enrolled in Heshima's school.
