EP19: It’s Hot, It’s Late, It’s Life (2020)

Has it really been three years? Originally recorded in February of 2020, this episode covers our then current living situations—hint: it’s hot—and then Margot has a big surprise topic for Jon!

This episode is chock full of updates! Margot’s latest writing updates, Jon’s secret COVID party, and then we talk about creating mixtapes in the age of streaming music.

Recorded two months ago, this episode begins with a recap of our first shared quarantine experience: Zoom karaoke! Then we talk about the newly woke people around us in the BLM era -- with a sidebar about Jon in Mexico -- and then wrap it all up with Margot telling us about joining her very first book club.

Returning from our long hiatus, it’s 2020 and we’re stuck indoors! What have we been doing with our time? Writing! Sort of. Listen in as we talk about our recent writing endeavors, our experiences on Zoom, and then a foray into our new cat lives.

Our first episode of 2019 and we’re here to talk about the new 52 Places Traveler, our respective trips to Portugal and Singapore, and then Jon gets into his “all Asians are basic” theory. Plus food views and recommendations!

It’s our last episode of the year and it’s been an exciting grown-up year for us both. Join us as we talk families, friends, and holidays as we eventually segue into some internet quick hits and Margot’s further driving adventures. Plus a brief take on our respective 2018s!

This episode is about making a happy home as we cover Margot’s recent move-in, her adventures in driving, Jon’s recent birthday New York trip, and then dive into answering the very important question: what is romance?

For the first time ever, we took a trip together end-to-end: to Vietnam! On this episode we dive into the days we spent together in Hanoi and Saigon, and then Margot shares why she’s off social media.

It’s our beginning of 2018 episode, where we cover our respective New Year’s Eves, future travels for both of us (and together!), and give some insight into our current personal fashion trends, aka skinny ties!
