Today we will discuss the concept of the "refiner's fire" and view Christ as the great refiner of us all. This stillness session is one focused on faith in the Lord. 

All of us find ourselves through our lives in the flames of trial and refinement. Some in more intense fires then others- but the Savior- our refiner- knows the process that we as individuals and families need to go through. We can trust Him and lean upon Him in the discomfort of our own refinement.

We don't always have to be in hot flames in order to be refined. We can be chipped away at and refined in everyday occurrences. As we view each day of our lives as an opportunity for learning and growth, we can find ourselves changing little by little. Deep and lasting change through small and simple means. One improvement at a time as we slow down and pay attention to the many opportunities for growth and improvement that are all around us.
