The Reformation of the 16th century was a powerful, spiritual force-and its leaders demonstrated that when believers boldly proclaim that God's Word is true from the beginning to the end, they can bring change to the entire world- And the Reformers did so by teaching on five simple truths-called the five solas. -We continue our tradition of welcoming Dr. Andy Woods to -Encounter God's Truth- each October. This year he is speaking about -The Reformers and the Five Solas.- Dr. Woods is the senior pastor of Sugar Land Bible Church in Sugar Land, Texas, and the president of Chafer Theological Seminary. He is also an attorney who has a great interest in history.-Over these next two broadcasts, Dr. Woods is going to show us how the Reformers became convinced regarding the authority of Scripture alone, as they proclaimed salvation in Christ alone-by grace alone, through faith alone.
