Much like David, we can find ourselves in a wilderness, lacking and searching for something to quench our thirst and refuel our fire for living. Sometimes, you may feel like you’re alone in this, struggling in life with its many tugs and pulls. And, you need some help to continue on your journey.
The exhaustion can take its hold on you and you can feel EMPTY. You are about to give out, feeling weak with every step. Without a doubt, you’re spiritually weary from all the worry, and you’re tired.
Not only are you thirsty for a physical refreshing, but you need a spiritual refreshing as well. You may look to others, but no one can fill your cup. And, you’re still left thirsty.

The wilderness experience reveals that there is only one solution. The search leads to the ONLY answer—to be submerged in God’s presence. You see, there’s a need for the Living Water that only Jesus can give.
It is a refreshing of life that starts you on a journey of love. Not only do you receive the greatest gift of salvation, but you receive all that you need in HIM.
There’s a relationship with Jesus that comes with a lifetime guarantee that you are never alone, and HE is always with you. No matter what comes your way, the LORD can give you a rest that refreshes your Spirit, Body, and Soul. He can fill your cup to overflowing.
Jesus said, “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis” (See Matthew 11:28, TPT). You see, an oasis is defined as a fertile spot in a desert, where water is found. Also, it is a pleasant or peaceful area in the midst of a difficult, troubled, or hectic place or situation.
In fact, Jesus is all that you’ve been searching for. He’s the Prince of Peace, a perfect Friend, a Wonderful Counselor, a Deliverer, the Bread of Life, the Comforter, the
