Listen Later

The Refuge for DMST (Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking) is an upcoming facility in the Austin, TX area dedicated to providing a safe space for young girls who have been victims to sex trafficking. With 48 beds The Refuge will be the largest rehabilitation center for victims of minor sex trafficking in the entire United States.

In this episode of Everyday Superhumans, Charlie & Kyle sit down with Steven Phenix (@stevenphenix) and discuss the issue of minor sex trafficking. They discuss the tragic world of minor sex trafficking, and why the media doesn't usually focus on it. But Steven brings light to the conversation by sharing the mission of The Refuge, the stories of their fantastic staff, and how The Refuge for DMST will provide the love and care that every child needs.
