The Jews waited for the promise of the arrival of their king who would sit on the throne of David and restore Israel to power. What they didn’t know is that God was speaking of a spiritual, eternal, heavenly kingdom. The good news is God kept His promise, that kingdom is here now, and His reign has begun!
