The relationship between Israel, the church, and the Kingdom is one of the most consequential issues in biblical theology. It has downstream effects on ecclesiology, eschatology, political theology, and even soteriology. Broadly speaking, covenant theology sees far more continuity between these three entities, while dispensational theology sees more discontinuity.
