What if the reason some people miss Jesus isn’t doubt, but religion? In this episode, we look at a moment in John 10 when people surrounded Jesus and demanded, “Tell us plainly.” But the problem wasn’t Jesus’ clarity. It was their expectation that he submit to their system. We explore why Jesus refuses to fit into anyone’s religious formula, why that made people reach for stones again, and why so many self-described Christians today might be better labeled “religionists.”
