And you might be blocking what God has in store for you, all because you won't heal. Yes I know, no one wants to talk about what has hurt them and what they have buried in the back of their heads or deep in their stomachs. But one day, and that day will come, you will have to face it. And I hope it won't be the day when everything is working out the way you wanted it to. So, can you heal and hustle? Can you give yourself permission to let go? I know you can.

It is common to hear the phrase: happy wife happy life. This is to make sure there is "stability and peace" in the household. But what if, that isn't the only happiness that we should be concern about. What if we are missing the other part of what makes a household a whole..The men..yes! Your Mannnnnn. While I understand that society and our culture has told you that it is not "safe" or "masculine" for you to cry, show emotions and feel down, I want you to know that it is okay. From a continuous healing woman to a black man in search of healing, let me be the first one to tell you, the RIGHT woman will appreciate the effort more than you know. We started believing being desired was the same thing as being respected. We learned how to become the prize physically…but forgot to become the woman who could sustain everything she prayed for. Healthy relationships require communication from both people. Men shouldn’t be expected to guess our feelings, decode our silence, or fix problems we never verbalize. If we want emotional maturity from men, we have to model it ourselves. Picking up where we left off last episode, here is some advice to the ladies on how we can better communicate our needs and wants to our partner, potentially partner or just navigating dating in general. I want to talk about this idea that our thinking around marriage and children might be completely backwards.

Somehow we've become a society where people will have a baby together after a few months of dating, but the idea of marriage feels too serious.

People say things like:

"I don't know if I'm ready to get married."

But they'll have a child with someone.

And I just want to ask the question:

How did we get here?

Because from where I'm sitting, having a child with someone is one of the biggest commitments you can make.

Not because children are a burden—they're a blessing.

But because a child connects you to another person for the rest of your life.

Marriage can end.

Parenting doesn't.

Let's talk about it.
