Text: Romans 9:26-29

This week we're continuing the exposition of Hosea's prophecy as an illustration of the one group of people who receive God's mercy and then we consider Isaiah's bittersweet prophecies from Isaiah 10 and Isaiah 1 concerning the remnant. Who are the remnant? Is this a reference to the nation of Israel only or has God always had a remnant throughout redemptive history? In these quotes, Paul teaches us three important truths about the remnant: 1) they alone will be saved; 2) they will be saved from a total destruction and; 3) they will be saved by grace alone.
