Loving your neighbour sounds simple — until it's someone you don't actually like.
In this talk from our James series, Mwangi takes us into James 2 and one of the most honest passages in the New Testament. James confronts the quiet favouritism we all practice — the way we unconsciously decide who deserves our energy, our warmth, our time.
And then he connects it to a command we know well but find hard to live: love your neighbour. No exceptions. No small print.
Mwangi closes with a challenge worth sitting with — we cannot cherry-pick who we give love to. What would our faith actually look like if we learned to love the people we find hardest to love? Maybe the Holy Spirit is bringing someone to mind right now. Maybe that's the point.
This is part of our ongoing series through the book of James.
