Dude 44B is the title the United States military used to reference the Weapons Systems Operator, also known as WSO – Dude 44B, that ejected from the F-15E Strike Eagle. The plane was shot down over Iran and 2 days later Dude 44B was miraculously rescued late on Saturday, April 4, 2026.
The information I’m sharing about that rescue operation was reported at press conferences presented by General Dan Caine, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
