By PhD student Joseph Festa. Recorded for the Doctoral College PGR Podcast Challenge.
On a weekly basis, Joseph interviews a different researcher that may be either a PhD student or a post-doc and together they discuss research life. They talk about “a day in the life as a researcher” and the whole aim of this is to inspire undergraduates or Masters students who may be wanting to pursue a PhD or PhD students who may be unsure about a career in academia. The other aim of the podcast is to delve into the researcher's work where they have discussions about their research, ranging from Covid-19 research, to people working on Alzheimer’s disease. The podcast looks into a wide variety of different areas of science and just general conversation between two scientists.
