Episode 3: When God Says Come

When was the last time you came to God and actually expected something to happen?

Not hoped, quietly. Not wished, vaguely. But came the way a child runs into her father's arms, certain she will be received.

In this episode, Elom sits inside Matthew 11:28-30 the verse that anchors everything about The Resting Place and unpacks it word by word. Not as a familiar quote you've heard a hundred times, but as a personal letter, written specifically for the woman who has been faithful for so long that she has quietly stopped expecting God to meet her.

You are not behind in God's timeline. But the lie that you are has been sitting on your chest for a long time and today we are addressing it directly.

Episode 1: Why I Built This

There is a reason you found this podcast today. And I do not think it was an accident.

In this very first episode of The Resting Place, host Elom Ayayee shares the story behind the ministry , the burnout, the quiet moments with God that began to undo her, and the ache she felt watching other women disappear under the weight of their own lives. She shares what God asked her to build, and why she believes this space exists for you specifically.

This episode is an introduction and an invitation. If you have ever felt exhausted in a way that sleep cannot fix, if you love God and show up faithfully and still feel empty underneath it all, this episode is your permission to exhale.
