We human beings have a lot of holidays. Why not? They can be a good thing. It also might be good to ponder the meaning of that label, holiday. It could mean Holy Day a day set aside by the hand of God as very important for all. Easter is one of those holidays a Holy Day.
We may call it Easter, but God had already had this day named. It is called The Feast of Firstfruits. This title represents Gods promise of a future harvest. Firstfruits began as a promise of a harvest of crops for the survival of Gods people in The Promised Land. Today, that promise is fulfilled in Christ. But it is not a harvest of crops, but a harvest of the souls of human beings. The Apostle Paul explained this in what may be called The Resurrection Chapter.
