Pastor Paul preaches this Easter Sunday on Matthew 28:1-10 and John 20:19-29.
This is the day that promises new beginnings. Jesus faced the worst of the worst and yet rose from the grave on this day to start a new era. Because of His resurrection, He meets and fills those who yearn and search after Him. Jesus also meets those who are misunderstood and feel defeated—you can be different because of today. It is not because of anything you can do, but only because of Jesus and what He did on this day anyone can have a fresh start.
Key Verse: On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” (John 20:19)
