When a loved one dies—whether it was expected or not—it starts an often long and difficult process of grief. There are ways to grieve without Jesus. But in the gospel, there are far greater resources for walking through a time of grief—and finding hope and encouragement along the way. For example, in the teaching of the return of Christ and the resurrection of the dead, we see the glorious truth that Jesus is greater than death.
