Of all the four pillars of the gospel, the resurrection is the constant ongoing assurance of the Christian. Paul reaffirms this truth in the second part of his fifteenth chapter to the Corinthians by contrasting the consequences of a Christ not risen. We press deeper into contrast to understand how fundamental this belief is to the Christian and how we as Christians today ought to live our lives in view of this assurance.
