The return of AUDIOVENT- with Jason Boyd and Ben Einziger
"Dirty Sexy Knights In Paris," the 2002 release by the band Audiovent- had a profound effect on me (and many others) at the time of it's release. Boasted by two singles- "The Energy" and "Looking Down," that moment seemed limitless to the group based out of Calabasas, California.
In 2003, the band quickly regrouped in the studio to record what should've been a follow up- but instead parted ways, leaving fans to wonder- why?
20 years later, Audiovent has reformed to the excitement of many fans, and is creating music again.
On October 20, 2023- their first single back- "Sleepless Machine" drops- and fans, such as myself, couldn't be more excited!
Joining me on the podcast today is Jason Boyd and Ben Einziger of Audiovent- where we get some of the lingering questions answered, learn a little history of the band, and express optimism of what's to come next.
