We continue The Return series by talking about returning to presence: investigating what we lost when our attention became constantly divided, and what it looks like to come back to the beautiful life right in front of us. We didn’t used to fill every moment. Being together actually meant being together. And the ordinary parts of our day weren’t something we rushed through - they were moments we actually paid attention to. These days, most of us find ourselves on autopilot - filling every gap, splitting our attention, and rushing through the in-between moments as if they don’t really count. Our minds are always activated -always stimulated - but never really focused on where we actually are. In today’s episode, we’ll talk about what it means to stop dividing our attention, how to leave space again, and return to doing one thing at a time, so we stop missing the wonderful lives we’re living.
