In the parable of the prodigal son, we see how pride distorts our vision and hearing, leading us away from our proper position under the Father’s presence. The younger son’s journey teaches us the five stages of repositioning: humility, ownership, repentance, returning, and reunification. When we humble ourselves before God, acknowledge our sin, and take intentional steps to return to Him, we experience the fullness of His grace and love. Our Father does not wait for us in judgment—He runs to us in compassion, ready to restore and celebrate our homecoming.
