Her research includes resilience and posttraumatic growth in survivors, the lived experiences of institutional betrayal and courage in survivors, and the church’s response to domestic violence. She also serves on local, state, and national boards and committees for organizations dedicated to ending violence and supporting those who have experienced abuse.
