On today's show: A jazz tutor has been kicked out of one of Britain’s leading conservatoires for questioning critical race theory and saying that organisations like Black Lives Matter are divisive.

Martin Speake said his life was “destroyed” after students at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Greenwich, south-east London, boycotted his lessons because of his opinions . One student said he didn't "feel safe." 

The renowned saxophonist was cancelled for claiming there was no evidence of endemic racial inequality in British jazz and that critical race theory was dangerous.

Martin is taking the conservatoire to an employment tribunal for constructive dismissal, discrimination and harassment. He shares his story on today's Richie Allen Show. This is very important. Share widely.

15 years ago, Victoria Haigh's daughter told her that her father was sexually abusing her. Incredibly, the girl was taken away from mum and her father was handed sole custody of her. Victoria was accused of coaching the child and being an emotionally abusive mother. A couple of years later, she was sent to prison for breaching a no-contact order after accidentally bumping into her daughter at a service station. Victoria was pregnant at the time, with her second daughter Sapphire.

She and Sapphire spent six months in a mother-and-baby unit at New Hall prison near Wakefield. After her release they moved to France where Victoria returned to her career as horse-trainer. In 2021 she was handed bombshell information. She learned that UK Athletics had banned her ex-husband for life for grooming a minor! He had remarried in February 2015 but weeks after the wedding he began sending explicit messages on Facebook to a schoolgirl he had met at Doncaster Athletic Club. The girl reported the situation to her PE teacher, who in turn informed the safeguarding teacher at her school.

She has also written to MP's - including Rupert Lowe - to offer her advice on grooming gangs and why local authorities are failing children.

Tayem Mercer is an Irish life coach, entrepreneur and public speaker. Tayem was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His family fled to Ireland to escape the brutal civil war there when he was only 8 years-old. In recent years, Tayem has spoken out on Ireland's inward migration problem. John recently published - on his excellent Substack - a passionate and thought-provoking defence of Mattias Desmet's "The Psychology of Totalitarianism." Desmet argues that totalitarianism today grows out of widespread loneliness, anxiety, and loss of meaning. As traditional sources of connection—such as community, shared values, and religion—weaken, people feel isolated and uncertain. In this state, they become more likely to attach themselves to a single story that promises safety, purpose, and control. Covid was such a story, arguably. The book has come in for unfair criticism in truther circles. Desmet has been accused of blaming the victims of totalitarianism for their plight. On today's show, John deconstructs Desmet's arguments and those of his critics. He explains why - in his view - Ireland is the birthplace of totalitarianism, why we should be wary of those who want to lead resistance or protest movements and much more.
