Having lived through this from the 40's to now , this was very inspiring and brought a lot of experiences into clarity. Our country still has a long way to go to catch up with the rest of the world.

runs like a current through the lives of so many relatively uncelebrated yet powerfully influential people
who have shaped the history of mainstream society so aptly documented by Brooks and the other writers\contributors
in this thought-provoking book
