The Righteous Perish brings us to Isaiah’s Prophetic Book part One hundred and seventy-eight. This portion today gives a clear warning for us today. It also provides clear the reward of the righteous. Jesus Christ, Lord of Lords is the focus here as Isaiah describes the wickedness that the nations have done along with a warning not to do these things. We also remind you that Our Lord Jesus Christ is called the “Almighty” among other descriptions in Revelation One. There is judgment and the warning is given. Revelation chapter 22 sums up the judgment in simple terms. The Lord comes quickly and will give each person their reward according to their works.

The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness. | His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
