Shashank hosts Vishal for a deep down on AC Milan's season. Just over a year ago, AC Milan were struggling. A legendary club reduced to a mid table team with Marco Giampaolo’s side only collecting 9 points from their first 7 league games. That is when Giampaolo was fired. Milan appointed an interim manager - Stefano Pioli. The fans weren’t particularly excited about the appointment - Pioli had precious little to show for achievements in his coaching career. While he did lead Lazio to a third place finish in the 2015-2016 season of the Serie A, he was fired the next year. More importantly for the Rossoneri fans, Pioli was sacked by city rivals Inter Milan just over two years ago. Pioli had a task at his hands and while tactically he hasn’t done anything mindblowing, his team plays a simple but effective style of football. Listen in as we analyze all that's making the Rossoneri tick this season. Follow the podcast on Twitter and Insta for more such content and share your thoughts!
