The results of the Italian General Election 2022 are astonishing and a watershed moment in the history of the country.  

For the first time in the history of the country, Italy is going to have the First Female Prime Minister. Her name is Giorgia Meloni. Her party Fratelli d'Italia has got a 26% vote in the 2022 Italian General Election.  Her election victory is also an indication of riding right wing across Europe. 

From Sweden to France, From Switzerland to Spain we are witnessing the rise of right-wing political parties gaining momentum and forming a government as well.  From the rise and popularity of Marine Le Pen in France to the fourth consecutive victory of Viktor Orban in Hungary, the right wing and populism aren’t only gaining popularity in Europe but also will be the major catalyst for electoral victory in the Future.  

In this Podcast, I try to explain in detail the factors that led to the victory of Giorgia Meloni in the recent Italian General Election and the rise of the right-wing all across Europe as well.
