There is a dangerous thought in Christian circles today. Honestly, it’s not new. It would even be possible to argue the truth of it using scripture. Here’s the idea, if you are faithful God will give you what you ask. After all… we have a God who can do more than we could ever ask or imagine. This verse is thrown around just about as much as any. How was this understand by the Christians at Ephesus that Paul is writing to? Did they get it? How did they understand it? What did Paul mean in writing it?
