Rabbi Tova Leibovic-Douglas does a solo mini episode on Passover, Liberation, and what our souls must move through in order to potentially shift during this holiday. What is the point of cleaning out Hametz or bread products, if we are not cleaning out the inner-hametz of our personal pantries in our souls? The goal of these rituals are to get us to access that knowingness of freedom with spiritual integrity. Can we do it? This must be the year for us to try.

The Ritual House host, Tova Leibovic-Douglas and Alon-Lee Green of Standing Together have a deep conversation about the sacred work of building a movement for justice and peace. They discuss the importance of this grassroots movement that Jewish and Palestinian citizens are building together, alongside allies from afar, as well as how the work cannot stop. Alon-Lee shares the rituals that sustains him as he continues to works with his partners and team to accomplish a cease-fire and return of hostages as well as pathways towards aid. The theme of spirituality and the revolutionary spirit is part of this entire episode. Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel famously shared after the march in Selma in 1965 that he prayed with his feet.
