The story follows Lord Henry de Quarterly, a wealthy Elizabethan nobleman who attempts an immortality ritual using dark magic from the “Liber Nefastus Nomina” (The Book of Unlawful Names).

When the ritual backfires, he becomes Wandering Oscar - a skeleton bound to a hill, suffering eternal pain and thirst for blood.
