Sometimes we think we understand Jesus, but we're only seeing part of the picture. This Palm Sunday, we're reminded that the crowd praised Jesus as King, and they were right, but they still didn't grasp the kind of peace He came to bring.

Jesus wept over Jerusalem not because their praise was wrong, but because they wanted a peace that was too small. They wanted relief from Rome. Jesus came to bring reconciliation with God. They celebrated a parade. Jesus was walking toward a cross.
