With only a 3% on Rotten Tomatoes, RoboCop 3 joins Jaws: The Revenge and Shrek the Third as yet another overlooked and underloved sequel. Especially in a time where Black Americans are disproportionately affected by our racist criminal injustice system, this entry in The Roboverse watches like a fairy tale, as cops throw away their badges to protect their community and a scientist refuses orders to brainwash the RobotCop so that he can join a badass group of protesters fighting against the dehumanizing nightmare that is corporate America.
