Weezer's second album Pinkerton is quite difficult to talk about. This is The Rock Geek's second attempt at making sense of this hugely polarising album and we're still not sure we've got to the bottom of things! In part one of this two part episode we try to get to grips with Pinkerton's stop/start recording schedule, beginning in New York and ending in LA, via Boston and Havard, and chat about how Rivers Cuomo's experiences on the road touring The Blue Album led to some of the most simultaneously beautifully tender and serial killeresque lyrics ever penned.
