The Rock of Salvation

Listen Later

Parashat Ha’azinu

God is our unchanging rock – the same God who heard David’s cry and moved heaven and earth to deliver him. Are you building your life on the solid rock of God’s character, or trusting in vessels that won’t survive the storm?

The Song of Moses in Deuteronomy 32 serves as a witness throughout the ages, revealing a consistent pattern in God’s relationship with His people. He finds them, cares for them, and provides for them, but when they become comfortable and complacent, they rebel. God allows judgment but ultimately brings redemption because He remains faithful to His covenant. This pattern speaks not only to historical Israel but to our spiritual condition today – when we drift from God, He calls us back through His word.

Yeshua fulfills the promise of redemption that human hands cannot accomplish. As the stone the builders rejected who became the cornerstone, He determines how the entire building of God’s people will be constructed according to righteousness and justice.

The upcoming Feast of Sukkot beautifully illustrates our hope, as the temporary booths represent God’s covering and protection, pointing toward the day when He will dwell with His people forever.
