The Rock Stops Here

The Rock Stops Here: Gene Deckerhoff

Listen Later

Gene Deckerhoff retired from calling FSU football, basketball, and baseball games after 43 years, but not Tampa Bay Buccaneers games. He’s been calling games for the Buccaneers since 1989 and is still going strong. Believe it or not, Gene’s first love was basketball. How has Gene been able to stay on top and what advice does he have? Plenty of great stories from Gene, who is one of the greatest storytellers you’ll ever hear!

Meanwhile, Rock notices how Tom Brady is happy when he’s on the field during games, talks about his upcoming opportunity to play baseball in the Rays media game, Doc Gooden pitching in the Mets Old Timers game, a big event coming up in Rock’s family, and a whole lot more!
