Andy turns to the blues for his brand new album coming Feb 7th Andy Fairweather Low, born on August 2, 1948, in Ystrad Mynach, Wales, is a renowned Welsh guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He first gained prominence in the late 1960s as the lead vocalist of the pop group Amen Corner. The band achieved several UK hits, including "Gin House Blues," "Bend Me Shape Me," "High in the Sky," and the chart-topping "(If Paradise Is) Half as Nice" in 1969. Following the disbandment of Amen Corner in 1970, Fairweather Low formed Fair Weather, which scored a UK Top 10 hit with "Natural Sinner" the same year. After the group's dissolution in 1971, he embarked on a solo career, releasing albums such as "Spider Jiving" (1974) and "La Booga Rooga" (1975). His solo work produced hits like "Reggae Tune" and "Wide Eyed and Legless," the latter reaching No. 6 on the UK charts in 1975. Beyond his solo endeavors, Fairweather Low became a sought-after session musician. He collaborated with prominent artists, including Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Roger Waters, and Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings. Welcome back to the show and kicking off 2025 we are joined by a drumming legend who shot to fame at Woodstock as the teenage drummer of Santana Michael Shrieve has long been associated with Santana playing on all the early albums up to 75 but since then he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music industry back in the late 70's he teamed up with Stephen Dees and they formed Novo Combo who looked primed for superstardom as the 80's turned .After lying dormant for over 4 decades the original quartet got back together and a new album has been released so the poerfect time to catch up with Michael and Stephen to find out whats going on , the new album and with their respective careers.

Also we met up on the road with Meghan Parnell of Bywater Call to talk about the latest album Shepherd and the potential live album coming soon as well.
