Are you contentious? Often times we only label the one who starts contentions as contentious. However, the one who cannot walk away from contention is as much contentious as the one who starts it. You cannot trend upward in your walk with God if you are constantly involved in contention. Why?Well, in part it is because fighting requires much attention, and focus, which ultimately should belong to Christ. But, also because pride is the root of contention. God resist the proud!
