When we look through the Bible we will see several places where sickness or disease is linked to sin. The original creation of God was free of Cancer, Corona Virus, Malaria and other sickness and disease rampaging the world today. The Bible told us that God said everything was very good (Genesis 1:31).

We can see how damaging and consequential sin was from the fall of man. People live in pain and suffer ailments because something went wrong when the human race was polluted with sin. We also know that everyone who is born through the same line inherited not only sin but also sickness, diseases, and other woes of the human race.

Since God loved the world, His plan for our salvation is not only to save our souls but also to heal our bodies. God wants us to be healed. That was why Jesus was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him and by His stripes, we were healed (Isaiah 53:5).
